What Can The Society Do For You?
Purpose:
The Society serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas, skills development and professional contact cultivation. It offers an annual educational conference, one-time educational workshops, district gatherings, as well as opportunities for members to serve in leadership roles within the organization. Through this site, members are able to connect with other members through forums or individual contact. We encourage networking for the sharing of knowledge and resources and to promote growth of the profession.
Membership:
Membership is available to those who are recognized by the administration of a healthcare facility in Virginia and have major and continuing responsibilities of the volunteer services in that institution, who are interested in the attainment of the objectives and subscribe to the by-laws of the VSDHVS. Beginning in 2018, annual dues have been waived.
